Karnataka BJP Targets Priyank Kharge Over Reply on RSS for Nil Cases
Bengaluru: The Karnataka BJP has launched a sharp attack on State Home Minister Priyank Kharge, citing an official government response to a Legislative Council question concerning cases and untoward incidents allegedly involving the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Karnataka.
In a social media post, the BJP claimed that the official response recorded “zero cases and zero untoward incidents” against the RSS in the state. The party pointed out that the document was signed by Priyank Kharge himself.
“Imagine hating a patriotic organisation so much, only to get publicly fact-checked by your own ministry,” the BJP said, accusing Kharge of contradicting his earlier political statements.
The party further alleged that the minister should accept the official record and described him as a “Troll Minister,” intensifying the political exchange between the BJP and the Congress government.
Kharge and the Congress are yet to issue a detailed response to the BJP's latest social media attack. The controversy comes amid continuing political disagreements in Karnataka over the RSS, law and order, and allegations concerning organisations involved in political and ideological activities.

And the absolute cherry on the cake? IT WAS SIGNED BY HIM! 🤡
In reply to Council Q. 524, @PriyankKharge literally put his own signature on official paperwork… pic.twitter.com/rKFC8IvSen
