Bengaluru: Confident Group Founder CJ Roy Found Dead : Suspected suicide
Popular businessman CJ Roy, founder and chairman of the Bengaluru-based Confident Group, was found dead on Tuesday in what is being investigated as a suspected suicide, according to preliminary information from official sources.
Sources indicated that Roy allegedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound during the course of an Income Tax search operation at his office premises. Officials from the Income Tax Department were reportedly present at the location when the incident occurred.
