Abhijeet Dipke blocked in his apartment, Sonam Wangchuk hospitalized by Delhi police

New Delhi: Tensions escalated during a protest in the national capital as activist Sonam Wangchuk was detained by Delhi Police from the protest site at Jantar Mantar and later shifted to a hospital for medical evaluation.

Meanwhile, social media reports claimed that Abhijeet Dipke was temporarily prevented by police from leaving a luxury apartment where he was staying amid the ongoing protests. However, authorities have not officially confirmed the circumstances surrounding his movement or any formal detention.

Innitially, the protest was organized over issues concerning NEET paper leak and got derailed to governance, minorities, farmers and freedom later, drawing supporters and activists to Jantar Mantar. Police maintained security in the area and extended all support as per demonstrations.
