Ashwath Narayan: Soon to guest lecturer will get good news

The problem of solving the problems faced by 14,000 guest lecturers in the state has already been discussed with the chief ministers and the result will be out in a couple of days. The Minister of Higher Education, Dr. C.N. Ashwathth Narayana said.

Ashwaththa Narayana gave this assurance after a three-hour meeting on Tuesday under the auspices of the Vidhan Sabha Chairperson Basavaraja Mutti and the Minister at the Office of the State Higher Education Council on the fulfillment of the demands of the guest lecturers. Representatives from several associations of lecturers were also present at the meeting

The matter was discussed with several members of the Methodist Council who attended the meeting, as well as appeals on behalf of guest lecturers' associations. Speaking afterwards, Minister Ashwaththa Narayana said that a final decision would be taken in consultation with Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai.
