Two policemen were washed away by rainwater

The incident in which two police constables were washed away by rainwater occurred in Bandihala village of Yalaburga taluk of Koppal district.

Constables Mahesh and Ningappa of Mundaragi police station of Gadag district were washed away in the water on the outskirts of Bandihala village on Monday night.

Farmers protested at Gajendra Gada in Gadag district. Constables Mahesh and Ningappa of Mundaragi Police Station were sent here to provide security. While returning after the end of the protest, the two fell into the water flowing in the canal late on Monday night and were washed away. Currently, the search for the two is going on.
