An old man died after casting his precious vote in Chitradurga district.
The incident took place in Renukapur of Challakere taluk of the district and the deceased person has been identified as Amir Saab (56). The deceased was a resident of Renukapur and died after collapsing inside the polling booth.
Efforts were made to immediately take him to the hospital, but he died on the way. It is suspected that he died of heart attack.
