Deputy Commandant of Home Guard fell into Lokayukta trap while accepting bribe

An officer of the Home Guard has fallen prey to Lokayukta while accepting a bribe.
Rajendran, who was the Deputy Commandant of the Home Guards of Kolar, demanded a bribe of Rs 6,000 from Subanayak to get him a job in Bengaluru Metro.
Subanayak had lodged a complaint with the Lokayukta police in this regard. Rajendran was caught by a team led by Kolar Lokayukta SP Umesh while taking bribe. The accused has been arrested and further investigation is underway.
