Lovers, young woman died after drinking poison in sleeper coach bus

The incident where the lovers tried to commit suicide by consuming poison in the sleeper coach bus took place in Haveri, the young woman died and the young man escaped with his life.

Hema Ramakrishnappa (20) is the deceased young woman. The young man has recovered and has been discharged from the hospital.

Akhil from Bagalkote and Hema Ramakrishnappa from Bangalore who was studying final year B.Com are in love with each other and have decided to get married if they live together. But the parents are against the love marriage. Distraught by this, Akhil and Hema decide to commit suicide.

Aggrieved lovers boarded a sleeper coach bus after their parents objected to their love marriage. Akhil and Hema are asleep after consuming poison.

Meanwhile, when the bus stopped for lunch, those on the bus got suspicious. On investigation, it came to light that he had attempted suicide. Passengers admitted both of them to the hospital with the help of locals, but unfortunately Hema breathed her last. A case has been registered in Ranebennur police station regarding the incident.
