The Dharmasthala staff had handed over my client (Santosh) to Sri Police. Santosh Rao was in jail for 6 years. Later he came out on bail. Santhosh Rao was stuck in my case in poverty. Today, a special CBI court acquitted the accused.
The suspect Santosh Rao is a resident of Kukkundur village of Karkala taluk of Udupi district, the accused was caught by the public near Baahubali Hill and handed over to the police. The verdict was announced after 11 years of the crime. Justice CB Santhosh said that he acquitted the accused because there was a lack of evidence submitted against him.
