Soldier wife, daughter hanged on the same rope, accused of molesting brother, Nadine

A heartbreaking incident took place at Dindalakoppa in Kittur taluk of the district where the mother hanged herself from the same rope after she was tired of being harassed by her brother and Nadine.

Mahadevi Inchal (34) wife of a soldier and Chandani Inchal (7) daughter of a soldier committed suicide.

Mahadevi was married to a warrior from Khanagaon village of Gokaka taluk. However, after two years of marriage, her husband sacrificed his life while serving as a soldier. After losing her husband, the woman lived with her daughter in her native house in Dindalakoppa.

The soldier's wife Mahadevi said that she would live separately after her husband's death, but her brother and her husband's sister Nadini opposed it.

Later, tired of being harassed by her brother and Nadine at home, Mahadevi decided to die and killed her daughter Chandani by hanging herself on the same rope. The incident took place in the Kittoor police station of Belgaum.
