A wife who sacrificed her husband on Bhimana amavase day by performing foot puja

After worshiping her husband on the new moon day of Bhima, she took him to the temple and sacrificed him. The gruesome murder that took place in the Banasiddeswara temple of Vaderahatti village of Mudalagi taluk of the district has got a big twist.

Priyanka Jagmutty, wife of the murdered Shankar Jagmutty, has been arrested by Mudlagi police. The killing took place yesterday (Jun. 17) in Vaderahatti village of Mudalagi taluk.

Shankar Jagamutty (25), who had stepped on the same threshold just five months ago, was gruesomely murdered in front of his wife in the premises of a temple near Vaderahatti yesterday.

Priyanka took her husband to the Banasiddeswara temple outside the town after worshiping her husband's feet on the occasion of Bhima's new moon. Before this, while leaving the house, she called her lover Sridhar and came to the temple.

Accordingly, Priyanka's lover Sridhar, who was lying in wait to kill Shankar, stabbed Shankar from behind and escaped with a knife as Shankar walked into the temple premises. After the murder, Priyanka acted like she didn't know anything.

When the case was registered and investigation was carried out, it came to light that there was a relationship between the accused Sridhar and Priyanka. Priyanka was arrested on the basis of technical evidence like call record, call details.
