A person who has drunk acid while drunk

An incident in Mullur village of Kollegala taluk of Chamarajanagar district where a person died after drinking acid in the name of drinking water.

Siddharaju (40) is an unlucky person who came to light late. Siddaraj had drunk the toilet cleaning acid he kept at home, thinking it was water and fell ill.

Hearing his screams as he was suffering from severe pain, the family and the villagers admitted Siddaraju to the local hospital for treatment.

Siddaraju, who was critically ill, breathed his last in the hospital and a case has been registered in this regard in the rural police station.
