Husband assaulted his wife with a wicket

A shocking incident took place in Challakere of Chitradurga district where he assaulted his wife and left her deformed.

Husband Bhaskar did this act, suspecting his wife Sheela, attacked his wife's private parts with a wicket. The wife has been shifted to Davanagere hospital in critical condition.

A couple named Bhaskar and Rekha, who are pharmacists in the health department of Challakere, live in a house on Pavagada Road. It is said that Bhaskar was suffering from mental depression.

The accused Bhaskar was arrested by the police and the incident took place in the jurisdiction of Challakere police station.
