Cong Govt creating water fight between districts, to secretly drains Cauvery water Tamil Nadu

The Congress government of the state is secretly diverting Cauvery water to the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu; in order to hide that water betrayal from the people, now is bringing a water fight between the districts, says Ex-CM and JDS state president HD Kumaraswamy making a serious allegation that misusing officials for setting fire is the height of meanness.

Speaking about this, Kumaraswamy said, "The Congress government is secretly diverting Cauvery water to the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu; to hide that water betrayal from the people, it is now bringing a water fight between the districts in our state. The same 'jalatante'(water fight) is being used in Hassan and Tumkur."

"Hassan district people have never objected to giving water to Tumkur, they are not objecting. They are just asking to give water to us too. The people of neighboring districts are like twin children. It is the height of despicableness to abuse officials and set fire in the midst of such children."

"I went to Hassan yesterday. I got to know what the situation is there. I also know that the situation in Tumkur is also difficult. But, Hemavati's mother is a political pawn for the Congress party. I have tried to silence the people by creating a police state."

"Police guarding along the canal shows the low attitude of this government towards our people. The act of guarding and draining water is a grave insult to the people of both the districts."

"Honorable former Prime Minister Mr. HD Deve Gowda also said a few days ago that should give water to Hassan and give water to anyone else. He asked if the government does not know how much water is needed in this severe drought. The government does not bother to listen to others."
