New scheme to protect temples, culture and Mutt by the Odisha BJP government
Odisha state BJP Govt to introduce a new scheme to protect, manage temples and mutts in the state.
State's Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan says, "...We would be taking care of the conservation, restructuring, conservation work as well as better management of temples and mutts. So, keeping that in view, we are taking some adequate step for which this entire culture will be preserved. So, this is the goal. We would be going ahead with this."
Minister says, "Preparation of blueprint is on and I believe that very soon, we will be coming up with a comprehensive plan and program for this conservation activity...Details will be coming very soon, I think in next 2-3 days..."
The new initiative by Odisha govt, for the protection and management of temples and mutts is a important step toward preserving the state's rich cultural and religious heritage.
By focusing on conservation of temples and better management, the government aims to ensure that these important sites are maintained for future generations.
This development is observed as very special, as the Waqf Board Act amendment Bill realated JPC meeting is going on and also debate on govt control over Hindus religious institutions also at high.
